Yesterday, nothing was posted as there was nothing that could be said that wouldn’t feel like either some kind of profiteering or being blind to the current issues.

Our headphones stay on, but when the music is off we still hear. George Floyd was recently murdered in an act of police brutality erupting into violent looting, rioting and protesting across America. Violence begets violence and as one innocent man suffers, hundreds more businesses and people suffer from the backlash.
Our voices need to be heard and we all need to stand up against these injustices but causing all the damage and distress to other innocent people and businesses is not the way. The world appears to keep turning and things don’t change. The L.A Riots in 1992 sought to be solution for police brutality but nearly 30 years on, we are back where we started.
Lets not forget that this reality is world-wide - it is local to Australia too.

We do need to fight for change, but maybe the answer lies in changing the fight.
